Your little ones will only want to be matchy-matchy with mom for so long (sad but true!), so it’s only natural to want to take advantage of it to get as many special #Twinning memories as possible. Just in time for your stay-at-home Mother’s Day photoshoots and playtime, Fabletics dropped their first mother-daughter activewear collection — with a twist of donating funds to help feed food insecure kids affected by the coronavirus pandemic.
The collection — available for grown-ups, toddlers and kids alike (in sizes ranging from 2T-XL and XXS-4x) — includes three bright colored outfit bundles featuring cute prints, functional and fashionable shorts and inspiring messages. Chief Performance Officer, Ginger Ressler was inspired to create the collection by her daughter Gia — and to hammer home some important and uplifting and empowering messages.
“Since the beginning, I wanted to design a coordinated collection for Fabletics. And I love how much joy this collection sparks, which is more important now than ever,” Ressler said in a statement. “The capsule conveys values I’m committed to passing down to Gia. I want her to follow her dreams, while making the world a better place.”
And in the spirit of making the world better, Fabletics is donating 100 percent of net profits to provide meals to kids. The company announced that they will make a minimum donation of $25,000 to Blessing in a Backpack’s COVID-19 program throughout the month of May — which will help the nonprofit continue to provide free food to elementary school kids who rely on school lunches to safely access food.
