Beyoncé is in the middle of her Renaissance World Tour, so her mom, Tina Knowles-Lawson, is helping out with the kids. She took her grandkids, Blue Ivy, 11, and 5-year-old twins Rumi and Sir, who Beyoncé shares with husband Jay-Z, to the London premiere of Disney’s live-action The Little Mermaid on Monday. As if we needed any more proof that she’s the ultimate fun grandma.
Knowles-Lawson shard a picture of herself from the event, dressed in a dazzling white suit with a sparkling top underneath and long sparkly brooch. Her long, dark hair hung in loose waves across her shoulder, which was very mermaid-like.

“At the premiere in London last night,” she wrote on Instagram yesterday. “Didn’t get to go on the real beach red carpet last night, because I had my grand children but the carpet was so enchanting it looked like a beach.”
She added, “@hallebailey was extraordinary in this Movie. So proud❤️”
Bailey and her sister, Chlöe, have been mentored and supported by Beyoncé for years and the “Cuff It” singer even signed the duo to her management company, Parkwood Entertainment, in 2015, according to Entertainment Tonight.

Tina Knowles-Lawson Had a Special Message for Halle Bailey
Knowles-Lawson also shared a video after the premiering, saying “Halle Bailey killed it.”
“She sang like an angel, she looked absolutely gorgeous, and, you know, it made me cry,” she continued. “It made me cry because my girls, both Solange and Beyoncé, both sung The Little Mermaid‘s “Part of Your World” when they were young.” Aww, how sweet is that?
But it wasn’t just the family memories — Knowles-Lawson is also happy for the representation Bailey’s performance provides. “Little girls will get to see [Ariel] portrayed by a young, beautiful Black woman. That’s history guys!”
“And, Halle, you did your thing,” she told the star. Coming from her, that means so much!
