Spilling all the details in an interview with Poosh, Kourtney revealed that she ultimately gave up creative control when it came to planning and executing the party, but she had one request that was absolutely non-negotiable. The soon-to-be mom of four insisted on having two of her favorite Disney theme park snacks: churros and Mickey-shaped pretzels with nacho cheese sauce.

“As someone who loves aesthetics and details, I also have learned to love letting go and allowing people close to me to surprise me, which is the best feeling,” Kourtney shared on her lifestyle platform. She added, “Walking into the party was so magical.”

So who was in charge of the lavish retro celebration? None other than Kris Jenner and Kourtney’s sisters Kim, Khloé, Kendall, and Kylie, with the help of the Kardashians‘ beloved party planner Mindy Weiss. Kris chatted with Poosh about the planning process, sharing, “I wanted to make sure that we had all of Kourtney’s favorite foods. She had her Mickey Mouse pretzels and her churros and the Mickey Mouse waffles for brunch. It was really a dream come true,” the doting matriarch said.

Weiss spoke to Poosh as well. She explained, “The planning process started by discussing the core memories from Kris taking Kourtney and her siblings to Disneyland over the years. The way it looked, smelled, tasted. The feeling you get when you are there.” Weiss continued, “We took those important elements and translated them into our own version of an authentic Disneyland experience in Kris’s backyard.” Kris chimed in, gushing, “Those memories are so special, so to be able to bring them to life meant a lot.”
