Fluoxetine hydrochloride 20 mg

I believe it was Aristotle who once said, “Dating is a pain in the ass.” You would think with advances in modern technology, dating would be easier. After all, with apps like Tinder, Bumble, and Hinge, we can now virtually connect with more people than ever before. And if you’re looking for a specific type of person, there’s likely a designated app for that. There are apps for folks in ethically non-monogamous relationships, apps for every single religion, queer-specific apps, and so much more. I mean, for the love of God, there’s a dating app called FarmersOnly, which—as the name suggests—is for farmers looking to find love.

But still, in 2020, dating is a real struggle. It can be exhausting to swipe all day, not to mention you risk meeting up with someone, only to learn their profile pic was taken 25 years ago. (That’s if you’re lucky. You could just be getting straight-up catfished, and it’s another person completely.) Or you struggle to settle down because there are simply too many options out there, and you can’t help but always be on the lookout for the next best person. Maybe you keep falling for people who are unavailable.

Whatever the reason is, know there’s probably a hilarious meme that perfectly exemplifies your struggle. That said, here are a bunch of dating memes that are way too relatable. Let us pray to Cupid that the whorin’ twenties brings us some better luck with dating.

SIGNS YOU’RE DATING SOMEONE EMOTIONALLY UNAVAILABLE (aka someone with an avoidant attachment style): . . ?They ghost or fade away after multiple intimate dates, and maybe pop back into your life later on with a lame excuse (work got busy) or ignoring the fact that they disappeared at all, only to repeat the same behavior when you start getting close again. . . ? They dodge all “what are we” conversations, or when you try to define the relationship they say, “we don’t need to label it, let’s just see where it goes” or, “I’m not looking for anything serious” despite acting like they’re really into you. . . ? They “forget” about you and don’t call or text, sometimes for days. . . ? The more you depend on them or try to get your emotional needs met, the more they pull away and assert their independence. . . ?You want them to meet your friends or family, but they seem to care less about making a good impression or putting in the effort to get to know them. . . ? During an argument or conflict, they shut down, stonewall, and ignore you…or they explode in anger. . . ?They negate your emotional experiences and reality or minimize your concerns and somehow YOU wind up apologizing to avoid conflict and feel close again even though you were the one upset in the first place (this is called “gaslighting”) . . . For more on dating an emotionally unavailable partner, take my free “Good Guy vs Bad Boy Quiz” (link in profile) and grab a copy of my book “Breaking Up & Bouncing Back” so you can get over that guy for good, start dating smarter, and find your forever love ? (P.S. if you caught my podcast interview on @velvetsedge the other week we talk about some of this, go listen!)
