George Clooney and Amal Clooney tend to be pretty mum when it comes to talking about their six-year-old twins Ella and Alexander. But last night, at the Clooney Foundation for Justice’s 2023 Albies, the couple gave reporters a rare peak inside the family of four’s home life. And while they talked a lot about Ella and Alexander’s musical preferences (more on that later), what stood out to us the most was one of George’s daily responsibilities with the kids.

“I do the drop-offs in the morning,” he told Access Hollywood.

No way. No. Way. There’s no way the Ocean’s Eleven star does school drop-offs. Right?! He’s always seemed down-to-earth for an A-list celebrity … but is he really that relatable?! Wow. Could you imagine seeing him in the line of cars in front of the school? What a cool yet horrifying thought. Because you might have an awesome run-in. But gone are the days of driving over in your pajamas. Because what if you see the legendary actor and he sees you?!

We digress…

Amal — a renowned human rights lawyer — also revealed that her kiddos’ latest interest is heavy metal music.

“The kids are listening to heavy metal,” George agreed. “They’re headbangers. It’s not fully heavy metal, it’s just metal enough that they can bang their heads.”

And though the couple might listen along with their kids, Amal and George admitted that they don’t have much else to contribute per se. “Oh yeah [the twins are musical]. Not that we are musical though,” George said. “I have zero talent,” Amal continued.

Even though the vibes don’t exactly match, we have to wonder if the Clooneys have a heavy metal playlist going when they visit their summer home in Lake Como, near the Alps in Northern Italy.

George and Amal reportedly brought Ella and Alexander to the special place for the first time this past summer. It’s an incredibly meaningful place for the parents since it’s where they met. It must also be nice for the kids since they can practice their Italian. George and Amal made the “terrible mistake” of having their twins learn Italian. The problem? The couple doesn’t speak it.

“So, we’ve armed them with a language that they can harm us with, and we don’t really know what they’re saying,” George said.

Yikes! We have to imagine the two kids make fun of their parents and think up pranks in Italian everywhere they go. Both at their summer home in Europe, and yes, in the school drop-off lane. And George and Amal are none the wiser. Sorry guys!
