Princess Eugenie‘s son, August Philip Hawke Brooksbank, turned 2 years old this week, and we can’t get over the adorable video his mom shared for his birthday. The toddler can be seen running down a street ahead of Princess Eugenie wearing a gingham shirt, jeans, and boots. When he turns around and sees that his mom — the daughter of Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson — is still following, he starts wiggling his hips and continues down the lane. The video is set to “Jive Talkin’” and now we desperately want to see Prince August, who is 12th in line to the throne, dance to the Bee Gees at a royal ball.
“Happy 2nd Birthday to our boy Augie,” Princess Eugenie captioned the post. “You are our worlds greatest joy. Keep dancing and smiling my angel. Xx”
As commenters wished August a happy birthday in the comments, they also couldn’t get over how much he looks like his family. They point out his resemblence to his cousins, Archie and Lilibet, as well as his mom.
“It‘s a Eugenie mini-me 🥹” said one commenter.

The young dance pro will have a little sibling to teach his moves to later this year. In January, Buckingham Palace and the princess announced that she and her husband, Jack Brooksbank, are expecting a second child.
“Princess Eugenie and Mr. Jack Brooksbank are pleased to announce they are expecting their second child this summer,” Buckingham Palace said in a statement. “The family are delighted, and August is very much looking forward to being a big brother.”
“We’re so excited to share that there will be a new addition to our family this summer,” Princess Eugiene said with a photo of August kissing her growing belly.
The family of three (almost four!) spends part of the year at Frogmore Castle, the former home of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry. And if rumor has it, the two families may soon share a zip code. According to sources for DailyMail, Harry and Meghan have been sending Eugenie details about real estate listings in California. Other sources said Princess Eugenie and Jack will likely rent a house near West Hollywood first.
Rent, buy, or otherwise, we would be all for this move. Think of all the adorable toddler dance parties that could happen with the cousins living nearby! Or slumber parties à la Princess Diaries 2. And so we say, keep your boogie shoes at the ready, Augie!
