“No más,” Vanessa said, which is Spanish for “no more” during a Tamron Hall interview. “The shop is closed.”
The former Total Request Live host went on to say that she didn’t want to “disrespect the intensity and the blessing of getting pregnant,” adding, “I understand how hard it is for some people and how some people can’t even adopt without having a lot of difficulty, and we’ve been very blessed and lucky to have three beautiful healthy, crazy beautiful kids. So in my mind, and in my pocketbook, no, but in my heart, if we had another …”
While quarantining with her little ones amid the coronavirus pandemic, the Filipino star has been homeschooling despite not being “built” for it.
“I don’t know how I’m going to teach phonics or math,” Vanessa told Us. “And there’s new math now. It’s different than the math that we [learned]. The good thing that I always remind myself is that we’re all in the same boat. We really, truly are all in the same boat. … We’re all behind together.”

She and Nick have made the experience “positive” for Camden, Brooklyn and Phoenix, she explained, from first day photos to schedules. “I’m gonna write them letters and notes to just give them a little extra love because I know what it’s like to be overwhelmed as a parent,” Vanessa explained. “Could you imagine what it’s like for [kids]?”
With help from Rice Krispies Treats’ “Love in the Case Of” kits, this nice gesture can be “easier” for other parents, she told Us. “It’s bridging the gap between the communication that’s going on or lack of between parents and kids right now. It’s not that we’re not trying, [but] we’re completely overwhelmed and we forget to go, ‘Hey, you can do it today.’”
