When Chloe Bailey “rise and shineee”s, she does it looking super toned. The singer—one half of Chloe x Halle—showed off her fit physique in a summery tangerine crop top and skirt set, after recording a (really good) cover of Rihanna’s “Love on the Brain.” NBD, right?
The Grown-ish alum’s Instagram followers were all about her post, commenting “Things you did : THAT 😍” and “Rise and fine 🔥😍.”

Both Chloe and Halle are fans of found fitness, and told Teen Vogue they walked their little brother to school every day to get some extra steps in. “That helps us start our day off nice and refreshed,” the sisters said. “And we love to go running, around three times a week,” to playlists featuring Beyoncé, The Weeknd, Kanye West, TwentyOne Pilots, and Bruno Mars.
From there, the duo does bodyweight exercises like weighted leg lifts, lunges, and yoga poses. On the road, the pair goes sightseeing. “Just walking around to each destination instead of getting a car, is an easy, fun, and healthy way to stay fit,” they said. “Performing every night is also a fantastic workout.”
Still, Chloe gives credit where it’s due, because genetics play a big role in body type. “I think half of my body is from genes and my family. My mom was a track star—her body was banging—and I think I got it from her. Now, I’m vegan, I don’t think being vegan has anything to do with my shape,” she said in a fan Q&A video. “…Food is my kryptonite, it is the best blessing for me and the biggest curse because if I don’t work out consistently, I will gain weight like this.”
Even though she’s vegan, Chloe loves takeout from places like Veggie Grill in Los Angeles and gluten-free sugar cookies. “You have certain foods that you just love, like jasmine white rice, bread, apples, grapes, and watermelon,” Halle told Chloe in a YouTube video produced for BuzzFeed.
