So far, 215 of the cases in 25 U.S. had been reported to the Federal States. More suspected cases are currently being examined. 22. Cannabis-active substances is suspected
So far, the cause of the disease is unclear. It is currently being investigated whether there were correlations between the disease and individual products or substances, authorities. Approximately 80 samples were taken, which are now being investigated. In many cases, the patient would have stated, to have the E-cigarette the active ingredients of Cannabis, THC or CBD was added.
The investigation was so difficult, because the patients showed different disease courses, the report says. Many patients reported a gradual onset of symptoms, including difficulty breathing to shortness of breath and chest pain.
