Pregnant Mandy Moore's Cutest Baby Bump Photos

Home For Christmas

The couple — who are expecting the arrival of their first child together, a baby boy, in early 2021 — opted to cancel their plans to see family and ultimately stayed home for the holidays this year in light of the ongoing novel coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.

The This Is Us star revealed that she and her musician husband spent Christmas “hunkering down at home, staying safe/binging plenty of tv and eating lots of baked goods.”

Almost There

After experiencing some ups and downs throughout her first trimester, things seemed to mellow out for Moore — until recently.

The “Silver Landings” singer revealed in a video on her Instagram Story that things have taken a turn in her third trimester when it comes to her hormones. The first-time mom asked her followers if any other women “suddenly” felt “nauseous, exhausted, and weepy” at that point, according to Entertainment Tonight.

“What the heck?” she added. “I feel like everything just turned on a dime.”

What a Trip

A few days after announcing that she is “with child,” Moore got candid about some of the difficulties of her pregnancy, noting that she “had a really tough, like, first 15 weeks” and experienced “major food aversions” — but that it was a “small price to pay” to be expecting her son on the way.

“And poor Taylor. I was like, ‘Can you go outside and eat? I can’t look at food, I can’t smell food, I can’t think about food,’ ” Moore recalled.

Get Your Kicks

“30 weeks with this tiny kickboxer,” the “I’d Rather Lose” singer captioned a mirror selfie, which saw her cradling her stomach in a floral dress. The mom-to-be also added the hashtags #grateful and #dontlookatmymessybathroom, before sharing the same photo on her Instagram Story along with the caption, “Home stretch is coming!!”

Suited for the Role

In early November, Moore opened up on the Today show about how her role as Rebecca Pearson in This Is Us has shaped her understanding of motherhood.  “Playing a matriarch of a family for the last five years and getting to see children at various different chapters and stages, I feel like I’m as pseudo-prepared as I can be,” said Moore.

“I’ve had babies and toddlers and adult children [on the show], so I’ve gotten a pretty good taste and lay of the land.”

Pretty in Pink

Sitting down for The Jess Cagle Show on SiriusXM radio in late November, the actress revealed that the first few months of her pregnancy weren’t exactly smooth sailing.

“I was really sick in the beginning — super sick,” Moore explained. “But I was home, so I didn’t have to miss out on work. I don’t know how women do it. I literally woke up and was sick all day long. I couldn’t eat, I lost a bunch of weight. I just stayed in bed all day, but I know that’s not the case for everybody, that it sometimes can persevere for the entire pregnancy.”

“So, I’m lucky that that kind of trailed off and I feel much better now,” she added. “But beyond that, I feel like I have my energy back, I’m feeling good.”
